A group of vloggers and bloggers from Moldova challenges children and teenagers

A group of most active vloggers and bloggers from the Republic of Moldova delivered a common message to children and teenagers. In a short video released in the context of the Internet Security Day, the opinion leaders challenged the Internet users to remember five recommendations for a safe browsing online.

Already known and loved by children, Ilie Bivol, Lilia Ojovan, Roman Tataru, Jad Chukri, Vlada Ciobanu and the vlogger known as “Zdarova Natasha” recommended children to use the advantages of the Internet, and at the same time to learn to avoid the risks.

Ilie Bivol called the Internet users not to harass others in the online space by giving them ugly nicknames, and not laugh at anyone for the way they look. The vlogger known as “Zdarova Natasha” spoke to children about how important is to use complex passwords in order to lower the chances of hackers for breaking into personal accounts.

Vlada Ciobanu and Lilia Ojovan spoke about how important is to have a good reputation online and what can be done to build it. In their turn, Jad and Roman recommended children to always keep in mind that there can be anyone behind a profile, and advised children not to send photographs or messages which would make them feel embarrassed if seen by others.

The message addressed to children and teenagers concludes with a challenge: “Stay safe also on the Internet. Remember our advice”.

The initiative belongs to the international Center “La Strada”, which manages the national platform www.siguronline.md, created to inform children and their tutors about ways to stay safe while browsing the Internet.
