The International Center "La Strada" and AVA HOST strengthen their collaboration for a safer internet for children

The International Center “La Strada” is strengthening and expanding its cooperation with private companies in the information and communications technology (ICT) sector, promoting shared responsibility in preventing and combating the online sexual exploitation of children. Partnerships with digital service providers are essential for the rapid identification and removal of child sexual abuse material and for building a safer digital environment.
In this context, the International Center “La Strada” and AVA HOST signed a Cooperation Agreement today, 15 July 2026, reinforcing the partnership between the two organizations in preventing and combating the online sexual exploitation of children.
Through this collaboration, the two parties will join efforts to ensure the prompt identification and removal of child sexual abuse material hosted on the hosting infrastructure and to contribute to a more effective response to this phenomenon. The agreement establishes a clear mechanism for cooperation based on well-defined responsibilities and the rapid exchange of information in order to facilitate the blocking or removal of illegal content from the online environment.
The partnership also aims to strengthen cooperation among hosting service providers, specialized organizations, and law enforcement authorities. By signing this agreement, the International Center “La Strada” and AVA HOST reaffirm the importance of private-sector involvement in protecting children and in reducing the online availability of child sexual abuse material.
We note that the International Center “La Strada” promotes policies and mechanisms for child protection and for combating violence and exploitation, while cooperation with digital service providers remains a key element in reducing the online availability of child sexual abuse material and in developing a safer internet for all children.
