The 5th of June was much awaited by us and the almost 40 teachers from the teacher’s community that promotes the safety of children online.
Since the last offline siguronline.md event, and after a long period of remote communication, there was lots to be said and learned, so a conference was a very good reason to meet again.
We remembered the most important activities from the school year that just ended, we got inspired from the pleasant experiences of the teachers and the pupils, we learned from those who managed to handle difficult situations – and were very happy to see that we all had things to say about this. So, in the breaks between the conference topics, we spoke to some of the teachers who participated at the event. The conference entitled ‘The school year 2020-2021 in the INTERSECTION community. Online safe zone’ was organized in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research of the RM. This is the 3rd edition of this conference.
The INTERSECTION program comes to support the education system in promoting the safety of children online, aiming to prevent their exposure to risks in the online environment. What we want is for every educational institution to be a safe online zone for every child, where teachers have knowledge, skills and tools, and the students develop their critical thinking skills using internet resources responsibly and positively.
