We invite you to meet Elena Botezatu, the new President of the International Center La Strada Moldova.
Elena has more than 7 years of experience in "La Strada", where she held several managerial positions. In 2017, Elena Botezatu laid the foundations of the Children's Program, contributing to organizational development in the field of online child safety, including by establishing strong partnerships with international organizations such as ECPAT, INHOPE, the Council of Europe, etc.
Elena is a lawyer with solid experience in law, public policy analysis and advocacy. She is the author and co-author of several publications and guidelines in the field of online child safety and the protection of children against sexual abuse and sexual exploitation in the online environment.
Elena Botezatu holds a Bachelor and Master of Laws degrees (graduated from the State University of Moldova, Faculty of Law) and attended various international training programs in the field. The new leader of "La Strada" is fluent in Romanian, English, French and Russian.
