The Hotline service of the International Center “La Strada”, reached a record number of calls in 2016. From the beginning of this year, over 33 000 calls have been recorded, which is twice more than during the same period of the last year.
Over 27 600 calls were received from people who wanted to get temporary employment abroad, within the Bilateral Agreement with the Government of Israel. The document implies that qualified and experienced workers from the Republic of Moldova have the possibility to go to Israel and work in the construction field.
Interested persons called every day from 8.00 to 20.00, in order to find out more details about this opportunity, and the Hotline consultants provided them with all the necessary information, such as logistic support at every phase of the project.
Since 2012, when the Bilateral Agreement with Israel was signed and till the present days this state project went through eight phases and more than 4 700 persons were selected for temporary employment in Israel.
Currently, the ninth phase of the project is ongoing, during which approximately 2000 persons who wanted to go through the selection process were professionally tested, in order to be able to work legally in Israel.
